The aim of Talbot Trail Pugs is to breed dogs which meet the Canadian standard in every respect. We are breeding primarily for show but realize that most puppies will find homes as pets. As temperament is the key to a perfect pet we are as concerned with that as with good conformation, luckily that’s easy with Pugs. All our dogs live in the house and are pets first, show dogs second and breeding stock a very definite last. We breed only occasionally when we wish to add a new dog to the kennel.

Although relatively new to Pugs we are not new to dogs having been Bloodhound exhibitors in the 1990's. We left the dog world behind for several years when we made a career move to Toronto. We still had our pets but after several years absence from the show ring we decided to get another show dog. My daughter wanted a Pug so we looked into the breed and fell in love with them.

We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club and the Pug Dog Club of Ontario, our dogs are shown to their Canadian championships.
